Hillside Driveway Rebuild, Aptos
New base rock, 3 inches of commercial-grade asphalt, a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall and full-length concrete curbs to keep runoff and hillside soil off the driveway. About 8 days.
ADA Walkways and Approaches, Santa Cruz
Public works project: subgrade prep, 6 inches of base rock, ADA concrete walkways and approaches, a concrete curb, truncated domes and asphalt transitions.

Asphalt Paving
If you're looking for paving done right the first time, with proper compaction, drainage, and clean finishes, we have the crew and equipment to get it done.
Tear-Out, Replacement and New Paving
Full tear-out and replacement, new driveways, parking areas and roadways, built on properly graded and compacted base for long-term performance, not just a quick overlay. Shown: new asphalt with the crew finishing and compacting the edge.
Concrete Construction
Concrete driveways, slabs, pads, footings and foundations, formed and placed on properly prepared and compacted base. Shown: a concrete driveway completed by our crew.
Retaining Walls
Retaining walls built with the excavation, footings, drainage and backfill that long-term performance depends on. Where engineering or permits are required, walls are built to the approved plans. Shown: hillside excavation and wall drainage for a retaining wall project.
Drainage and Underground Utilities
Storm drain lines, catch basins, trench and channel drains, and underground water, sewer and utility lines, installed to approved plans and followed by backfill, compaction and surface restoration. Shown: trench work along a curb line with traffic control in place.
